Our Story

Some companions grow old with us.

When I was a child, my dad brought home a little white dog.

I don't remember exactly what he said that day.

I only remember how happy I was.

From then on, every day after school had something to look forward to.

I would run home, put my schoolbag down, and go straight to him.

We played together.
We ran around the house.
Sometimes I talked to him about things he could never understand.

But I didn't care.

He was always there.

And somehow, he became part of my childhood without me even realizing it.

He always waited for me.

As I got older, he became part of my daily routine.

Sometimes, he would follow me when I left for school.

He couldn't come inside, of course.

So he would wait outside for a while, and eventually find his way back home on his own.

Then, when I came home later that day, he would be there.

The moment he saw me, he would run over and greet me as if I had been gone for years.

Every single time.

Back then, I thought that was just what dogs did.

I never stopped to wonder how special it was to have someone waiting for you every day.

Then life took me somewhere else.

Eventually, I left home to go to university far away.

Life became busy.

A new city.
New friends.
New responsibilities.

I came home less often.

And every time I returned, I expected to see the same little white dog waiting for me.

But one day, I noticed something had changed.

He walked more slowly.

The little body that used to run toward me now moved carefully, one step at a time.

His white fur was no longer so white.

It had become dull and gray.

He had grown old.

And I suddenly realized something I hadn't wanted to think about:

While I was growing up, so was he.

I wish I had noticed sooner.

I wish I had spent more time with him.

I wish I had taken more pictures.

I wish I had gone on more walks.

I wish I had paid more attention to the small things I once took for granted.

Most of all, I wish I had been there for more of his later years.

But life had already moved forward.

And eventually, he was gone.

There was no final trip.

No perfect goodbye.

Just a quiet realization that someone who had been part of almost my entire childhood was no longer there.

And strangely, it was only after he was gone that I began remembering everything.

The way he waited for me.

The way he ran to the door.

The way he followed me.

The little white dog who had been there through so many ordinary days.

That's where Mestr began.

Not from a business plan.

Not from a market opportunity.

But from a feeling I couldn't shake:

We often don't realize how precious our time with them is while we're living it.

Pets don't stay with us forever.

But the moments we share with them can.

That's why we created Mestr.

We want to make products that are part of that life together — products that make everyday care easier, adventures safer, moments more comfortable, and memories easier to keep.

Because one day, we may look back and realize that the ordinary moments were the ones that mattered most.

The walk around the neighborhood.

The ride home.

The quiet evening on the sofa.

The little face waiting at the door.

We can't make time slow down.

But we can help you make more of the time you have together.

Mestrpets

More Than a Pet.

For the moments you share.
For the memories you keep.
